Rockwell Hardness Testing Machine
The Mitutoyo HR-530 series of Hardness Testers include a unique electronic control capable of Rockwell, Rockwell Superficial, Rockwell testing of plastics (A & B), and Light Force Brinell hardness testing. The closed loop test force control on the Mitutoyo HR-530 Rockwell and Brinell Hardness Tester allows for a wide variety of hardness testing, including plastics. The HR-530 is capable of testing the inside wall hardness of rings without cutting the ring into pieces. An easy-to-use brake-start system automatically begins testing when the initial force is reached.
The Mitutoyo HR-530 Rockwell Hardness Testing Machine has Digimatic, RS-232, and USB output for data transfer. The HR-530 is available in 9.8in/250mm or HR-530L 15.5in/395mm height capacity models.
Mitutoyo HR-530 Rockwell Hardness Testing Machine
- The curved surface correction function enables curved surfaces, such as round bars and spheres, to be tested for hardness as easily as flat surfaces
- Color touch screen control panel displays statistics and graphs; up to five display formats show needed information
- The required hardness scale can be directly selected from the touch screen; the initial test force and loading force are automatically set in accordance with the selected scale, providing great convenience
- Nose-type indenter enables measurement of a specimen’s flat top surface as well as the inside surface of a cylindrical specimen
- The HR-530 is available in 9.8in/250mm or HR-530L 15.5in/395mm height capacity models
